Farm.

Midway between the St. Johns and Matanzas River, Bee Hill Farm is tucked away in the rural farming town of Elkton, Florida. Surrounded by ancient oaks, longleaf pines, and a block of native wetlands, the farm has an idyllic setting that embraces the ‘old Florida’ feel, while only a fifteen minute drive from historic downtown St. Augustine.

What We Grow.

We specialize in growing various leafy green salad mixes, head lettuces, as well as high-end seasonal fresh cut flowers. The varieties we grow change from year to year, as we learn and adapt to new challenges we face as farmers.

When We Grow.

Seeding begins in late summer with the first flush of fall flowers usually beginning in October, followed by vegetables starting in late November. Flowers will continue up through the first freeze, and then typically begin blooming again in February. We continue to grow vegetables through winter, up until late spring when temperatures begin to rise. Flower season usually comes to a close around late May - early June.
